Buy a Tee, I'll Plant a Tree

Well, maybe not all of them but some!

I’ve been thinking about how I would like to give back to my community (my subscribers and followers of me and Fish Face Goods) other than sales and promotions that hopefully would make a lasting impact on the topics and things we do here. Something that would benefit fishers, hunters, hikers, bikers etc. In my opinion, if we don’t have a planet then we can’t do any of the outdoor activities I just mentioned. I’ve been reading a lot lately about groups of environmentalists that believe if we just planted enough trees (and stopped deforesting as well) then we could early reverse the effects of a warming planet. I plan to share more of what I have read in future posts.

So for the month of December (and probably beyond) I have four non-profits I’m considering donating to on behalf of you all. A percentage of each sale will go to either the Arbor Day Foundation, Trees for the Future, One Tree Planted or Community Carbon Trees. I have some more researching to do about which one I will choose. Please check out these organizations and give me your feedback as well.
